Questo prodotto contiene un profilo del DNA di un singolo animale.
Un profilo del DNA viene stabilito utilizzando i marcatori del DNA. Il profilo di ogni campione viene memorizzato in un database e può essere rappresentato come un codice a barre, univoco per ogni individuo. Questo profilo del DNA ha lo scopo di verificare la parentela, che comporta un confronto delle informazioni genetiche presenti in una prole con quelle dei potenziali genitori. Per un’accurata verifica della parentela, tutte le informazioni genetiche nella prole devono essere riconducibili alla combinazione della madre e del padre. Nella maggior parte dei casi, l’affidabilità di questa analisi supera il 99,5%.
Oltre alla verifica della parentela, un profilo del DNA può essere utilizzato per confermare l’identità di un individuo. L’affidabilità di tale analisi è estremamente elevata, in quanto richiede una corrispondenza esatta di tutte le informazioni genetiche tra due campioni.

This test is in accordance with the specifications of the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA). The test is performed by Certagen and the results are accepted by ASCA. Please only order this test if you want to register your dog within the ASCA.
Please note:
The STR marker set previously used by ASCA and Certagen has been replaced by a different technology (SNP markers). Both technologies are not comparable to each other. If you have any questions about the changes and the implications for parentage verification, please contact ASCA. By ordering the test you agree that the data and genotypes are transmitted to ASCA. Please be aware of that the ASCA requests the following information in order to send out a certificate: Name of the dog and ASCA registration number (if already available), names and ASCA registration number of the parents and owner name of the offspring. If you like to perform a parentage analysis for your puppies please ensure that you have ordered a SNP profile of both parents before.
